The development of Planik was a collaborative effort, with Hadi Hajdarevic leading the design, Julian Rabung overseeing programming, Alexander Rielsing handling architecture, Andrej Ils managing marketing, and Wladimir Goneker running the office. The team faced challenges in coordinating the programming of the variables from the excel spreadsheets, the formal aspects of the architecture, and the functionality from the designers. Despite these hurdles, they successfully launched the platform after three years of development.

Planik's innovative design and functionality have earned it recognition and accolades. In 2018, it was awarded the Silver A' Website and Web Design Award, a prestigious honor given to designs that demonstrate outstanding expertise and innovation.
